Motivational Thoughts

Sometimes faith is tested. Sometimes life seems hopeless. Sometimes we want to give up and stop trying. It’s not easy to keep a positive mind frame when the world feels overwhelming and heavy. Sometimes you just want to be done guessing on when things will get better, if they’ll stay better. The more we go down the struggling mind path, the harder it is to turn around and go down a better path. My wish for you i to keep faith, keep hope, and to keep trying no matter what life throws at you.

Why not me? Why not today?

I see the world going on around me. I see people chasing their dreams and achieving them. I see people finding themselves. I see the drive, dedication, passion, and persistence people apply in their own lives to get to where they want to be. And my mind has been saying, why not me? Now it has added, why not today?

I am capable of achieving my dreams. I can sell books and write a blog that draws people in. A blog to motive them and help them on their own path. I can start my own business and help people through the use of reiki and holistic healing. I can also apply all my knowledge to make myself the healthiest and happiest me I can be. I can do it all not for money or fame. I can do it for me and the ones I love.

What we think, we achieve. If we spend our lives coming up with excuses to why we can’t do something, we won’t ever be able to do it. If we find ways around obstacles and see problems as something to overcome and not something that stops us, we can get where we are going. The mind is a powerful first step in everything. When our mind says we can do something, we can do it. It may take time and patience, but when we take that first step, we start on our way.

Is there something you’ve always wanted to do? Do you have a talent you’ve learned and are scared to share it with the world? The only person who can hold you back from conquering fears and moving forward is you. And I’m here to tell you, you can do it. If others can do it, why not you? Why not today? Take the steps that will get you to where you want to be.

Reflections

Often we want to blame ourselves for the way people treat us. If someone is cruel, that is a reflection of who they are. They choose to be that way and it has nothing to do with you. Cruel people like to hurt people with good hearts because it makes them feel better and powerful over those they hurt. They made their choice. Please know your choice doesn’t have to be to tolerate it.
