Dear Loving Wife,

In your lifetime, you’ve never been loved the way you deserved to be. You deserved caring hands, kind words, hugs every day. Those in your life were never capable of doing these things. It was always a reflection of what they lacked, the ability to love anyone outside of themselves. You never let it burn you though. It could have harden you, changed you, but you didn’t allow it to. You took what you knew and you have loved with everything in you. Your babies know love, support, and attention because of you. They’re good people because of you. You haven’t always been capable of seeing your own worth, just how amazing you are. It’s hard to see the shine inside yourself when so many have tried to dull it. I’ve always seen it though. I’ve always wanted to help you see it too. I wanted to make it so you’d see just how worthy of love, patience, and kindness you really are. I have always wanted you to feel just how much love I have in me for you, and that you deserve to be loved and to love in return. There has never been a single thing wrong with you. You just lacked having the right type of people around to show you that those who hurt you are crazy, inconsiderate, and evil. It was never an issue with you. You have a heart of gold who would do anything for anyone. And when they realized just how much good is in you, they tried to take it because they couldn’t have you breaking free of them. But you did break free. Step by step, you broke the chains they cast on you and have found yourself. It hasn’t been easy on you, freedom rarely is, but you’ve made it to the other side. You know you’re worthy of love. You know you’re safe. You know nothing done was ever your fault. Those who have hurt you will have their own judgment day for it all. But for you, you get to live the life you were always destined to live with peace, love, and happiness. I’m proud of you for always fighting to be who you were meant to be. I love you.
